The core business
of the company is the retail and distribution of medical and surgical supplies, equipment and all related consumable products. Goods and supplies are sourced from around the world, according to the stringent requirements of the health industry, to offer quality products at competitive prices. Where required we supply, install and commission various medical equipments. The core business also caters for the prompt and efficient delivery of goods and services, which is crucial in the health industry.
Our experience and expertise is not only limited to the medical sector, we also deal with laboratories supplies, office furniture, chemicals and other related items.
We striven to meet the labour and gender equity policies of the country and the Managing Director of the company is a female, with 35 years of medical and related experience. The present structure of the company is supported by a well established and dynamic team inclusive of administrative staff as well as highly skilled and trained medical sales consultants. IMSS also has a network of free lance agents both locally as well as internationally.
Our company experience...
Iziko currently has a product range in excess of 400 items. Our products are diverse and range from disposable needles to theatre equipment. The stringent requirement of the Health Organisation requires Certification of most medical items and our product carry CE and EN certification. We also endeavour to establish its own identity by obtaining its own Brand Names and trademarks.
To date we have trade marked and branded the name OonCorp which brands our latex gloves manufactured for us by a reputable overseas manufacturer. Other branded products include endotracheal tubes, face mask with visor, alcohol swabs and adhesive plasters. Our imported products are obtained from recognised and reliable sources throughout the world with the relevant certification where required.

The team at Iziko is a young and dynamic company with an average staff age of 40 years and enjoys a combined work experience of over 80 years. This experience comprises of a keen blend of both the acumen to effectively administer the day‐to‐day activities of the company based on sound business principles as well as valuable experience in the various sectors of the medical field.
This type of combined experience ensures efficient administrative qualities for the successful and smooth operation of the practice.
